We develop, produce and sell rubber suspension systems as a torsional flexible bearing, as a tensioner device for chain and belt drives, as screen mountings for oscillating systems, as rocker arms for shaking conveyor systems and as isolations- and damping mountings. Our suppliers also have long, specific experience in the manufacture of semifinished products. Thus, we ensure a competitive quality. www.pavo.ch 33 Assembly Instructions • in explosion-proof rooms, we recommend that the components be grounded • if the angle of wrap on the tensioning roller is greater than 60 °, the roller acts as a deflecting roller and the tensile forces can double. Accordingly, a larger type of tensioner device is to be selected • we recommend to have the test load calculated by the belt manufacturer. The belt manufacturers offer appropriate measuring equipment in their accessories • In our selection table, for simple belt drives, in the tension force, the effect of belt elongation (~ 2%, depending on the belt type) is already taken into account. Retightening is thus not necessary. For large axle distance, high load peaks, reversing operation or in case of a large setback in the piston-compressor, we recommend checking the belt tension after several days of operation • A crowned roller is necessary for the tension of flat belts.
